About Grizzly Restoration
Grizzly Restoration has served Fresno since 2023. Meet our IICRC-certified restoration team. Licensed, insured, locally owned.
Grizzly Restoration opened its doors in Fresno in 2023, built around a simple idea: when water, fire, or storm damage hits a home or business, the response should be fast, straightforward, and handled by people who know what they’re doing. We’re a family-owned and locally-owned company, which means the people answering your call and the people decide how a job gets handled aren’t reporting to a corporate office somewhere else. They’re here.
Restoration work doesn’t follow business hours, so we don’t either. Our phones are answered 24/7, because a burst pipe at 2 a.m. or a kitchen fire on a Sunday doesn’t wait for Monday morning. A lot of what we do day to day isn’t glamorous: pulling soaked carpet pad, running air movers in a crawlspace, photographing damage for a claims adjuster who’s never going to see the property in person. We also handle direct insurance billing, which takes one more phone call off your plate when you’re already dealing with enough.
What we do
Most people who call us are having one of the worst weeks of their year, not because the damage is always catastrophic, but because it’s happening in their home, on their timeline, with their stuff. Our job is to show up, assess what’s actually going on (not just what’s visible on the surface), and walk through what comes next in plain language. That includes documenting everything for insurance purposes, because a claim that’s well-documented from day one tends to move faster and get paid more completely.
Our certifications and licensure
Our technicians hold IICRC certifications across water damage (WRT), structural drying (ASD), mold remediation (AMRT), fire and smoke restoration (FSRT), and odor control (OCT). The IICRC sets the technical standards the restoration industry works from, things like how long a structure needs to dry before it’s safe to close back up, or how to contain an odor source instead of just masking it. We also hold EPA Lead-Safe certification, which is a federal requirement for any renovation or repair work disturbing painted surfaces in homes built before 1978, common across many of Fresno’s older neighborhoods. Grizzly Restoration operates under California contractor’s license #1107432.
Where we work
We’re based in and serve Fresno. Staying focused on one city means our crews know the housing stock, the older slab foundations in some neighborhoods, the newer stucco-and-tile construction in others, and how Central Valley summers and winter storm patterns tend to show up as water and structural problems. It also means when you call, you’re getting a crew that can be on-site without crossing half the state to get there.
